This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Am I the inly one that finds DA a really lousy technical platform? When I compare with other sites like Flickr I realize just how primitive everything is. For example, there is no batch editing, so when I decided to clean up some unwanted pictures, I had to delete them one by one. That is a 7 step procedure that has to be repeated over and over... And not to mention the search, that may or may not deliver what you asked for. Just imagine how much better a Google-powered search would be. Please DA, I really look forward to a major upgrade.

St. Francis said,
“A man who uses his hands is a laborer. One who uses his hands and mind is a craftsman. He who uses his hands, and his mind, and his heart is an artist.”
